Ahmed is a returning face to the SoCal Swordfight community having made his teaching debut here last year. Ahmed is a skilled fighter and instructor in the sphere of South and Central Asian swordsmanship with a particular interest in the Swordsmanship traditions of the Ottoman Empire. Ahmed is also a fight choreographer working closely with the Guild of St. Michaels at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire to bring the cold arts of the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia to a wider Audience. Ahmed also has 3 years of experience learning (and teaching) alongside his fellow practitioners at Bayt Al Asad. He has also gotten Second Place in the Tournament of the Silk Roads held at CombatCon in 2025.
