Robin has studied various forms of Martial arts for over fifty years Starting out in Hawaii at age 12 in Karate, he continued to learn from various instructors as he moved around. Four years of Varsity High School wrestling, Judo, 2nd dan in Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chun, Boxing and Savate. (1988 US middleweight Savate Champion) He was a Force Instructor for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for 35 years. Certified as a Krav Maga for Law Enforcement Instructor. Currently an 8th dan in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. Co-founder of Lamh Bata Lann. (A blending of Celtic and Native American warrior arts) He is an Apache Knife Combat Master Instructor. Masters Hall of Fame inductee 2009, Martial Arts History Museum Hall of Fame inductee in 2023.
Robin had been an instructor at SoCal Swordfight since the very first one in 2012 and has studied various forms of Martial arts for over fifty years.
